Count me in as one of the many disappointed: 64-bit sucks. I frequently do a full back up – not just recently created or modified files, so when the computer dies, I can restore stuff – like Jezzball – to my new computer. I haven’t been without this game as long as many of you have, but, by gum, this new 64-bit PC won’t play the old games. I also miss Chip’s Challenge.

Great news for us people with an Android phone, a game called "JezzBall Classic" was released just the other day and it is *exactly* like the original JezzBall!

Now I can play JezzBall any time I want, no more boring bus rides for me! I remember getting the game from this page a few months ago and thought I would share my discovery with you guys.

Here’s a link to the game on the market. Check out those screenshots and tell me that doesn’t look like the real deal.

I play one jezzball game every morning. Gets my brain moving. But since yesterday I can’t open the jezzball application. Computer tells me that "Windows cannot complete the extraction." Why not now if it has worked perfectly for years? What can I do?

My other half just got a new cell phone (an HTC Inspire), and something about playing the game "Teeter" that comes on it, reminded me of when I used to play Jezzball. Of course "Whatever happened to Jezzball?" was our next question, answered relatively easily by you, Peter. Thank you so much. Maybe I’ll even install it on his computer later –after I play a few more times ;>}

I just love this game. I have played this in my Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate using the xpmode, but it just doesn’t play well. I still play it in my old xp machine. I wanted to get rid my old pc, but I need it to play jessball and other old games. I wish someone with the know how would rewrite it to play well in Window 7 64, exactly like it does on XP.

Peter, thanks for the upload. What should one google to find an emulator to make a 16-bit game work on a 64-bit PC, such as Windows 7. Have you been successful in this area? Thanks in advance.

Reply from Peter: I have the same problem on my 64-bit Windows 7, and have not yet found an easy workaround. I’d be curious to hear about any solutions.
