I get subscription emails and pending comment emails from my wp blog so I know the email is set-up. I'm only using the default moderator section.

How long does is usually take to be notified? Maybe I'm being impatient?

Hi, you should receive the e-mails immediately. Some things to check if other WordPress e-mails work:
- The e-mail address on the accounts that should be receiving e-mails
- The e-mail address on the author (and whether your mail server allows them to be the sender)

Okay-

I'm really confused. We are on a WPMS, and I instituted Collaboration emails network wide. For all the new blogs that we create, the emails get sent- work fine. Great.

For all of the older blogs that were created in December, although all of the settings are the same - the emails aren't being sent.

I hesitate to deactivate the Plugin, as I'm worried I will reset everyone network wide.

What do you suggest? I'd appreciate the help!

Sorry, I haven't worked much with this plugin in a multi-site environment. The plugin can be activated per site; you could test de-activating and re-activating it on a specific "old site". Do you have a staging environment? That way you wouldn't have to test it on the live site.

Hi,

I´m using the latest wordpress 3.4.1 but can´t get any email notification at all. When I publish the post I don´t get any email. When I put it to draft= no email.

I´m using Manage collaboration e-mails with Peter's Post Notes: status.
Along with this I also have subscribe2 plugin installed.
In my email setting I have Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.
I know that my wordpress can send email since subscribe2 have sent some email to me from my system.

This plugin seems to be great for a site like mine with multicontributor, but if it still wont work, do you or anybody else know any plugin that share the same function as Peter collaboration e-mails? (i tested post notifier but it keeps sending email everytime pressing the update buttom)

Also let say if Peter collaboration e-mails work, how do I deativate to send email to some members if they request to not get any email at all?

Again thanks, and great work Pete!

I don't know what the issue is if you are receiving other e-mails. Perhaps they are ending up in your spam folder? As for having people unsubscribe, you can manually remove a person from receiving e-mails in the plugin's settings page. For anything automated beyond that, you'd have to extend the plugin. Good luck!

Since upgrading to WordPress 3.4.1, I have stopped receiving emails when posts are submitted for review. I use SMTP mail, and had been getting the notifications without incident. Nothing has changed with my email server configuration or with my Collaboration Email settings, except updating when updates were available. I am able to successfully send a test email via SMTP. Am I missing something? Thanks!
