Version 0.3.0 will add anti-spam protection to the WordPress registration form and a corresponding blacklist for registrations.
To test the registration form protection, set $ras_reg_protection equal to "true".
Note that the beta only runs on WordPress 2.1 and higher.

I installed this plugin just as instructed and it will not add the spam protection to my registration page, I checked the code about 10 times and I know that $ras_reg_protection = true; is set correctly. I am using version 2.0.4. It did add it to the comments pages though.

Crap, my sincerest apologies. From what I know the ability to hook into the registration form started in WordPress 2.1. I should mention that!!!!!!
Perhaps this is a good time for you to upgrade? I used to resist upgrading but it's actually really really easy if you haven't hacked any of the core WordPress files.
