I'm not sure about the second one. However, for the first one, did you press the left or right arrow on your keyboard to select a team first?

I have flash installed and everything works like a charm except for 2 things -
1) the team score does not update on the top even when I press the space bar and
2) the "X" button does not vanish even after I wait for over a minute without touching the keyboard...

What am I doing wrong?
