The CLP is set on customers account if you are a high risk... In a way it is really helpful as it avoids you breaching a $200 bill.
It tracks your billed, and unbilled usage.
Clearly you cant say you were a 'ligh' user of your phone if your went over $200.
Maybe check out a different plan.
Oh and by the way... Hidden charges? nope.. you signed a paper or agreed to the terms of service when you activated.. it is simply your ignorence.. not hidden fees.

Telus is a joke. It can't get its IT people to fix their website...it has been mostly useless for the last three months....what a dumb night mare to use...must be hiring 12 year olds to set it up....actually that's not fair...12 year olds would take it seriously and fix it....Their home bill prints as if it came from KOODO as a mistake in billing....whoa....they make promises which are never fulfilled..three weeks waiting for a manual of phone features and how to activate them...you would expect to be able to find that on their website...NADA... .I have both a mobile internet service and home service with them...I left Ontario's Bell Hell to find only worse with Telus. We are a bunch of saps I guess that we polite Canayuns put up with these gouging idiots...we pay the highest phone service in the world...and now we are brining our kids into this foley....Time to stamp our feet...REAL LOUDLY... me thinks.

I have a $200 credit limit on Koodo and a $35 plan with a few extras. This past month my phone was cut off without warning despite the fact my ebill showed only a balance of $100. The customer service rep, and I use the word "service" lightly, informed me that I had over $100 in charges that weren't on my bill yet but would be next month so I was over my $200 limit. I always thought a consumer was responsible for amounts actually billed to them and not be responsible to guess what might be coming on the next bill. After they have cut you off for not having a working crystal ball, you are then required to pay a $30 reconnection fee to restore your service. Sounds like a questionable billing practice to me.
