I am deciding on a cell phone - main use is for travel (drive) from north of Toronto to Texas and then near Guadalajara Mexico. Texting is not the big deal, but coverage is - for security mainly, in case of emergency on the road.
So does anyone know :

1. how is coverage in the US ?
2. ” ” Mexico ?

What costs are involved in # 1 or # 2 roaming etc

Also, does one buy battery chargers etc, about how much in Canada ?
Thanks

Unfourtunatly at the moment, Koodo Mobile does not have any coverage at all in the USA or Mexica. Koodo is a Canadian owned and operated company. However if you want to use the phone outside of Canada, there is no extra charge on Text messaging, it is the same rate (if you have unlimited texting, then no charge!) The roaming fees very from each different part of the staes and mexico. It all depends on where you are.
