Hi, I don't think the redirect plugin could cause such an issue, so my guess is that it's something else. I would start troubleshooting by seeing if that page displays the bar after you come back to it, as well as looking into what else is happening behind the scenes when some logs in.

First Peter, let me thank you for this useful plugin. Question - It may be something in my config but it seems that when I use the redirect to send a user to my WP site First Page, the message bar at the top of the WP Window is suppressed. If they click on any link on the site, the message bar appears from that point forward. Is there something I am doing wrong or is that just the way it is? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
