Hi -- the core logic of the plugin hasn't changed. Try setting a general redirect rule for all users and see if that works. That might rule out any specific problems with the role redirect.

I suspect there might still be some other piece of code taking over the login process and bypassing WordPress's standard login redirect hook.

Hi,

I've been using this plugin for over a year now and it's always worked perfectly. However, after updating to 2.7.2 today it no longer redirects based on role. It goes to the base URL of the site irrespective of the user role. I didn't update anything else today, so I can only think that something subtle has changed within the update.

FYI I'm only defining login redirects via the "Specific roles" section and haven't updated any of the settings on there. I've tried deleting the rules I put in and entering them again, but no luck.

FYI 2 - I'm also using "sidebar login" plugin, and have read this might cause problems, but I deactivated it and there was no change.

Any ideas what could have changed?

Thanks!
Stephen
