I love this it is simple to set up, simple to use and a fantastic small product,
However some Ideas for possible future releases:-
+ Support for Multiple Seasons that roll over
+ Records Kept – would be interesting if we could have multiple seasons we could also have records kept of highest ladder position for a team or even biggest scores they have scored or lowest scores or something.
If the creator of this could contact me I have a proposition for you :D

To-do of my own: make the display of standings and game scores PHP function calls. Currently it is simple to split the standings and game scores if you understand PHP but it would be even easier for users if those elements were contained in a function.

I miss the field BALANCE:
Example: RF – RA = BALANCE (that's is more important field the ORDER of classification perfect, after Points).

I really love what you have done to this and hope that you continue.
I have one request. And that is for Double Forfeits. I have a league where towards the end of the season we start getting alot of teams that just dont show up and we have had a few Double Forfeits. You have it setup that there can be one team forfeiting to the other but what if both teams forfeit to each other.
Any change on getting this maybe in the next release?
Thanks way in advance for anything that you can do.

I'd like to see an optional memo field added to the conferences table. I use the software for online gaming leagues and would like to post rules (game length, skill level) on the standings page (right under the conference name) for each conference.

I added a notes field (divnotes) to the div table then added that to update and index.php to be displayed on that corresponding division's page.

This script had made some huge strides with its past few releases. I think the only major additions left would be an enhanced layout and support for player stats.
Thanks again for continually improving the script.

The trick here is that the fields for player stats are quite variable across sports and different people's leagues for the same sports. This should either be left up to custom implementations or a flexible, customizable definition of a "player" object (existing CMS here we come?).

How about having automatic calculation of win, loss, tie and remove the drop down menu of Plays, Beat, Tied, Lost to??? I know it can be done. I saw it done somewhere on a php help forum once. I just can't remember where.
Also, the update.php could be updated to something more like:
Home: __________________ Score: ___
(RESULT drop down menu)
Away: __________________ Score: ___
Comments: _________________________
It took me a while to enter results correctly with the current form display. I kept wanting to to just enter winning score first. I modified my form to cut down confusion for all that enter in results.

I guess another item would be a printable version of the page. I created one for an older version that I am using, as documented and displayed in another forum topic. I added this so my visitors did not have to print all content in side panels and header/footer of my CMS, going GREEN by saving paper and toner/ink at the same time.

Hi.
My request would be that if you already have it for leagues.
You should make it do tournaments also.
All soccer leagues run a soccer tournament at the same time.
Either playoffs or stage groups like the world cup.
Eiter way, keep up the good work..

I'll have to agree for with the above comment. – tournament(s), playoffs.. that don't necessarily have to have their own separate standing table but maybe we can just add some rows and columns that will just state what each team did in each tourney(s) & playoffs (1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect)
pretty sure it could work teh same for for soccer, baseball, hockey, pretty much anything..
this would be ideal if it could also be implemented in the history part for each team.. but I think Im asking for a bit to much..

For organizing the standings, maybe add a head-2-head (if teams finish season with same points) in the standings so if two teams are tied, the standings will show the correct team being placed on top of its tied opponent I: head-2-head, II: teams w most Wins, III: runs/goals against, IV: etc..
