I know that the iPhone 4 is coming to Koodo on the 15th. But what I'm wondering is if an already purchased iPhone 4 from Bell will work the same with a micro-sim that Koodo offers?

Depending on the model, iphone4 for sure. Even the 3g. Anything earlier may not be supported. koodo sim is only $10 bucks so really nothing to lose. You'll know anyway when activating at a koodo shop.

NO, you may not take a Phone that is locked on the Bell network and use it with any other carrier. you must unlock it first. The iPhone 4 can currently only be unlocked using a piece of hardware Called Gevey Sim. If yuor iphone is jailbroken, you may use A gevey Sim Ultra, and use the app furiousmod from Cydia. I am currently doing this, it works great. if your iphone is not jailbroken you may only use the gevey sim or gevey sim pro. if your phone is not jailbroken there is a process in which you must dial 112 and hangup. if the call goes through, you are hanging up on an emergency center which is breaking the law.

The only thing Koodo does not offer is visual voicemail.

You will lose your $10. a koodo sim will not work on a locked iPhone. it must be unlocked.

Could you let me know which firmware are you using? I am currently trying to get Gevey Ultra to work on my iPhone but I keep having problem with it. It connects to Koodo for 1 min and then no reception after... I done the jailbreak and install furiousmod like the instructions

DK - Did you get your cellular data to work ? Voice and texting works but I couldn't get the data to work on Kodoo. I worked on it for about an hour with the kodoo guy at the mall. (Using Gevey Ultra Sim)
