Koodo charged me and brought me to collections for a balance I paid off before I cancelled. And when I called concerning the collections notice on my credit report they said they have my credit info, but my mothers name WAS ON THE ACCOUNT, NOT MINE. Koodo is by far the WORST phone company I have had the displeasure of using.

They billed me 350 for a phone that wasn't used after the first week and then put the authorized user as the account holder and kicked me off, they wouldn't even tell me when the last bill payment was made.

I plan on fighting this to the end, even if it means court.

so funny.

You only get sent to collections if you didnt pay your bill for a VERY extended period of time.

Also.. $350 for a phone? the TAB alone is a maximum of $150!

AND any company cannot just 'kick' you off of your account. If your mothers name is on the account as the billing name, it is because the credit check was completed under her name...

and lastly.. if your going to take a company to court.. strong suggestion (read the terms of service first)..:wink:
