hey, about international text recieving, I have never been able to recieve texts internationally when I was with telus, or now that i am with koodo, my international friend can only text me from a free text service on her pc. it may be that i don't have the correct country code or something, but it has never worked for me.

I also have not been able to receive an international text...my boyfriend in jamaica gets them ok but i cant seem to receive any from him, he has tried to reply to my msgs and also has tried different ways to text me, either by txt'n straight to my phone # and also tried using the +011 before my phone number, but nothing seems to get through to me.....i thought maybe he was having problems, but seems like i am not the only one not able to get international txt msgs...

I have been with Koodo since they came out and I text back and forth throughout new jersey, Utah, LA, and even over seas "Trinidad"... Sending and recieving hasnt been a problem for me so I would assume you should be fine as well.

I have not problems from the UK nor replying but she uses T Mobile, which has an agreement with Koodo. The over sea co. has to have an agreement with Koodo before contact can be established. What is it that you don't get??? Each country has it's own system, in this country, each province has it's own system... wake up folks....

umm question I'm planning to get a koodo phone but the only reason I'm going with koodo is because it has free international txt and myfriend lives in trinidad will it show up as "international txt" on my bill or will it just be "incoming/outgoing txt? And also would he be able to recieve and reply to them?

as long as koodo has an agreement with the svc. provider in the country your texting with and your are using proper procedure:

011+country code+cell#
